The EcoCBase W3 covers a wide range of cleaning tasks
March 2012 – With its new EcoCBase W3, Dürr Ecoclean has developed a compact system for aqueous parts cleaning that is cost effective and energy efficient. This aqueous cleaning technology entry model rounds out the EcoCBase series and represents short delivery times, fast production start-ups and low investment costs.
EcoCBase W3, as a system based on aqueous solution cleaning, is utilized mainly for the removal of emulsions and chips. Because of its modular design, the system is capable of covering a wide spectrum of cleaning tasks, ranging from simple washing processes handled by the single stage basic version, to a two stage intermediate “wash-and-rinse” or to a sophisticated “wash-rinse-preserve” final cleaning process. Not only are the system’s many application possibilities attractive, so too are its price and operational economy. The EcoCBase W3 consumes as much as 50% less energy during drying processes in comparison with conventional technology. The equipment units installed offer a wide variety of capacity and utilization possibilities and an especially energy-efficient parts drying system make the EcoCBase W3 a production component that adds real value.
Together with EcoCBase C2 for solvent cleaning and EcoCBase P2 for cleaning with polar and partially polar solvents, the EcoCBase series now includes systems handling all cleaning processes and media. All three entry models score extra points for their short delivery times, fast production start-ups and low investment costs
